Former City Building Sells

One more former City Hall building sold today, for $650,000. It went to a group of the Snyder family’s investors, who also purchased the “Old City Hall” building in 2010.

The Center Office Building, sold at auction today, is located at 707 S. Houston Avenue.

Bryan Bickle, one of the investors, made the winning bid. He says no one’s sure yet what the building will be turned into.

He does think he got a good price.

“It’s right next to a lot of institutional places,” he said. “That’s the key thing in any type of real estate.”

Those include the BOK Center and the Tulsa Convention Center.

“We’re interested in bringing back downtown,” he said, adding that what isn’t in the plan for the building is demolition.

“We’ll renovate it, we won’t tear it down,” he said. “It’ll be office space or apartment space.”
